How it reaches you.
Six steps, no surprises.

The steel itself is made in a mill, not by us. What follows is the part we run, and it is the same every time, whether the order is a bundle or a truckload.

    The item, the grade, the size and the quantity. A call, a message on WhatsApp, or the form at the bottom of this page.

  2. 2We confirm the specification

    We tell you exactly what we can supply, which standard it meets, and what it costs.

  3. 3You place the order

    We then buy it. We do not hold stock, so we never promise anything we have not already sourced for you.

  4. 4The mill or processor supplies

    The mill or processor we buy from rolls, draws or makes the material for your order.

  5. 5It is dispatched

    The test certificate travels with the vehicle, not ahead of it. You get the vehicle number and the dispatch details the day it leaves.

  6. 6It arrives at your site

    We check it against the order on delivery. If anything is not what we quoted, it is ours to put right.

FAQ

Are you a manufacturer or a trader?

We trade and supply. We are not a mill and we do not pretend to be one. We buy from mills and processors against your order and deliver to your site. Ask where any consignment came from and we will tell you.

Will the weight be short?

No. The weight is stated on the order and you are welcome to check it on delivery, and there is a tolerance of 0.5% on the total material weight. A quote far below the market usually saves that money on weight or on coating, so ask any supplier what they have left out.

Can I get test certificates and a proper invoice?

Yes. The test certificate travels with the vehicle, not ahead of it, so it reaches you when the material does. Tell us at the enquiry stage what documentation the site needs and we will make sure it is on the truck.

Do you deliver on the date you quote?

We quote a date we can meet and we tell you early if anything moves.

Which brands do you deal in?

We buy from several mills instead of tying ourselves to one. That is what lets us quote on what is available and at what price. If your job needs a specific brand, name it in the enquiry and we will tell you plainly whether we can get it and when.

We buy from mills and processors against your order and deliver to contractors, builders and dealers. We do not hold stock. That is the whole business, and you can hold us to it.

Most of this trade still runs on phone calls and rough guesses. It does not have to. The calculator on this site, and the standard named against every weight on it, are what we have done about that so far.
