Multiply by the area you are covering to get the weight. We supply 2.50 to 3.00 mm and 4 mm wire at 40 to 100 gsm of zinc, in mesh openings of 2, 2.5, 3 and 4 inch, compacted. The gauge names above are the trade ones: 12 SWG is 2.642 mm and 10 SWG is 3.251 mm exactly, and the trade rounds them. IS 2721:2003 is the standard behind it. It makes the fabric in widths of 0.90, 1.20, 1.50, 1.80, 2.00, 2.50 and 3.00 m and rolls of 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 m, measured fully stretched, and pairs each mesh wire with a line wire one size up. Fabric to 2 m takes two line wires, 2.50 m and over takes three. The standard fixes no bundle weight, only that a roll is bound and fastened compactly. The last column is what each is usually bought for. That is trade practice, not something the standard fixes, so tell us the job if it is not one of these.
