Indian Standards are published by the Bureau of Indian Standards and are their property. They are named here so you can check a figure against the source, and quoted only as far as is needed to say what a number means. A material test certificate travels with the vehicle.
We do not print a channel weight table here, on purpose. A channel has tapered flanges and a root radius, so its mass cannot be worked out from the outside dimensions. The tables published freely on the web disagree with each other, in one case giving ISMC 150 as both 16.4 and 10.4 kg per metre, and a wrong kilogram per metre becomes a wrong tonne on your order. Take the figure off the IS 808 table for the ISMC size or off our quote, put it in above, and the total is exact. Rolling tolerance is set by IS 1852, and we confirm it in writing with the quote.
